How to Register
You must register in person for Stout Adventures offerings in Room 56 of the Sports & Fitness Center during open hours of operation.
- To register for most trips, clinics, programs, and events you must pay all fees up front. However, for trips over $100.00, you must pay half of the trip fee as a deposit. The remainder is due at or before the pre-trip meeting.
- Registrations are taken on a strict first come first serve basis. Mailing in registration does not guarantee a spot. Most activities can only accommodate a limited amount of people, so please call for availability.
- Stout Adventures accepts cash, check (payable to UW-Stout), Flexline, Visa, Discover, and MasterCard. We also accept electronic check payments online
If you must cancel less than 14 days prior to the trip, clinic, program or event you will not be eligible for a refund or credit.
If a trip, clinic, program or event is canceled by Stout Adventures, a full refund will be given. Reasons for cancellation by Stout Adventures include, but are not limited to low registration numbers, weather and leader illness.
Participants are required to complete a Participant Information Form before departure. The form gathers information such as emergency contacts and health assessment information. Any "red flags" on the Participant Information Form will be discussed with participants before departure. Stout Adventures may ask for a "doctors clearance to participate note" from anyone with preexisting health concerns which may conflict with activities planned. While Stout Adventures aims to create a welcoming community for all ability levels, we reserve the right to refuse participation to any participants with physical or emotional disabilities which Stout Adventures volunteer trip leaders are not trained to work with.
