Learning & Client Technology Services (LCTS) is the first level of contact for most Learning & Information Technology services, including help desk functions and instructional technology support. LCTS serves help desk functions via telephone, web, email, onsite, and walk in support of campus systems, software, and hardware. In addition, LCTS provides technical and logistical support for the eStout student laptop program. LCTS also serves as an instructional technology center focusing on teaching and learning for instructors of the UW-Stout teaching community. Offering a range of services, LCTS partners with faculty to provide expertise, training and support to assist instructors in incorporating instructional technology into their teaching practice and creating technology-enhanced instructional materials. LCTS is proud to include the Student Technological Assistance and Resources organization (STAR), a self-managed student organization that performs numerous invaluable services in support of campus technology.
