Facilities

Where creativity meets technology
In this Section

The School of Art and Design is devoted to creative excellence. To achieve that goal, we provide dedicated spaces for the various disciplines. Our classrooms and labs are designed to accommodate the discipline-specific lab and studio work for each area. Our commitment to excellence means that we regularly update our facilities to ensure state-of-the-art learning spaces for our students.

The Applied Arts Building provides unique facilities for each of the six studio art areas that are conducive to the specific needs of each discipline. Studio spaces are flexible and adaptable given the needs of the class. Extensive open studio and lab hours allow access to these spaces outside of class periods.

Design studios, labs and specialty computer labs are housed in both the Applied Arts Building and the adjoining Micheels Hall with unique facilities for each area that facilitate learning for each design discipline. Extensive open lab hours allow access to these spaces outside of class periods.
